Create workspace from Sharepoint Site

Hi

I'm confused with sharepoint sites, Office groups, app-workspace, workspaces-old, workspaces-new experience, etc. etc.

Case: existing sharepoint site must be used to publish reports to. I don't see a workspace when publishing from PBI-desktop. 

What must be setup in order to have a workspace linked to an existing site?

App Workspace contain classic app worksapce  (workspaces-old) and the new app workspace (workspace-new experience), User workspace (Such as my workspace) is different from app workspace, please refer to this thread for detail about workspace.

The classic workspace is based on the office groups. We can publish report to user workspace or app workspace from Power BI Desktop.

If you want to interate Power BI report to a share point site, you can get the steps from this document.
