Hi,
I've been having some trouble with a R visual used in a report. Works fine on desktop, but it crashes on Power BI service. I get the following:
Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual. Please try again later.
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.
Hi @gmaciel
Firstly, please check:
What kind of your data sources? on-premises or online?
How do you connect to the data sources, import or direct query?
Do you install a gateway and is your gateway online?
Secondly,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at following links to know limitations when you use R script on power bi service.
Reference:
which R packages are supported in the Power BI service and which packages are not supported.
Finally,
If your packages are supported, try remove dataset and report in Power BI Service,
check the data type of columns,
change to another web browser for Power BI Service,
re-publish pbix from Power BI Desktop to Service.
Best Regards
Maggie
