Couldn't load the schema for the database model

I created a report  from PowerBI desktop using sql server ( on premise) and publised it to PowerBI service using Direct Query option . I have a managed gateway  in server and this gateway is added to the published Dataset . It is Direct Query . If i try to run the report from PowerBI Service i am getting error Couldn't load the schema for the database model .

Any idea what could cause this problem ?

1. I have pro license 

2. I have full access ( my uid) to database 

If i do import with same gateway from same sql server all works ok .

Any idea ?

Hi @Anonymous,

This is one of common error messages, it is hard to troubleshooting from this message.  Can you please share more details information about this? 

Have you finished configure your datasource credentials on server side?
