Connection to data source fails

My data source is bigquery and so far scheduled refreshes have worked fine. Today however when trying to set up a scheduled refresh I get the following error:

'Failed to test the connection to your data source. Please retry your credentials.'

Retrying the credentials gives me following error message:

Failed to update data source credentials: ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (8701) Error interacting with REST API: Timeout was reached ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (8701) Error interacting with REST API: Timeout was reached

I have no idea what is causing this issue nor how to go about resolving it.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Check that too many overlapping refreshes are scheduled.

And Scheduled refresh of large datasets can take a long time and be resource-intensive. It's important to not schedule too many overlapping refreshes since the maximum Model Refresh Parallelism in P2 is 12.

Please check the memory left and the refresh progress.
