Due to security reasons, we have to turn off "Allow Azure services " setting on Azure SQL database. The power BI reports that are published no longer work and error is reported when the user logs into powerbi.com
Are there any alternatives such as add IP range of Power BI server or interject any service between azure sql and power bi, restrict inbound access of azure sql to this service
Thanks

Hi @bpranathi,
After turning off "Allow Azure services" setting on Azure SQL database, it is available to enable the access to Azure SQL via whitelisting the IP addresses, for your data region, in your firewall. However, the IP range of Power BI server is updated weekly. Moreover, it could be different each time within each region. So, you have to monitor and update the IP range on time to ensure Power BI can always fetch data successfully.
