Common data model - Vendor mapping

Hi!

We are starting to use CDM to map our Entities in the Dataflow step. What is the correct mapping for a Vendor?

Customers are called Accounts, but I cannot find Vendors as an entity?

Hi and thanks for your reply. The question specifically is what is the correct way to map a standart Vendor Account in the CDM Model that is available for mapping within the Dataflow. The only thing we can find is the Account Entity, but its description says it is only for customers. But it must be standard to have Vendors in PowerBI Dataflows? 🙂

Hi, @johanjsc ;

Based on this document, You create and manage dataflows in app workspaces by using the Power BI service. Once you've connected and prepared your data, you can choose to map it to a Common Data Model standard entity or load it as a custom entity in the Common Data Model form in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

We can try to load it as a custom entity in CDM form if we cannot map it to a CDM standard entity.
