Comma Separator issue

Good morning everyone

I am working on a project and facing an issue in all the dashboards I have published recently. The issue is, all the values in my dashboard is in the format (1,23,45,888). As soon as I published it and view it in power BI service, the format automatically changed to (123,456,888). I know value, date and time format is automatically reflected as its on the local system. I have checked my local system settings, there are in perfect format (1,23,45,888). I have also checked the regional setting of power Bi service, it's also perfect. I am sharing some images of the issue for your better understanding and also sharing regional settings.

Please help me out. Is there anything is service where we can change the format. I dont think so but still ask if there is anything. I have tried DAX FORMAT function (1,23,34,567) but after publishing the format is automatically changed to (123,456,789)

The issue you're facing is related to how the comma separator is interpreted by Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. In some countries, a comma is used as a decimal separator while in others it is used as a thousands separator. The default format of numbers in Power BI is determined by the regional settings of your local system, and it seems that the format of the numbers in your Power BI Desktop report is set to use a comma as a thousands separator, while the Power BI Service is interpreting it as a decimal separator.

To resolve this issue, you can change the format of the numbers in your Power BI Desktop report to use a period (.) as a decimal separator instead of a comma. You can do this by selecting the field in the report, and then going to the "Modeling" tab in the ribbon and selecting "Format". From there, you can choose the appropriate format for your numbers, and make sure that it uses a period as a decimal separator.

Additionally, you can specify the format of numbers in the DAX measure that you're using. To do this, you can use the "Format()" DAX function to format the numbers in the way you want. For example, you can use the following formula to format the numbers with a period as a decimal separator:

Format(<Measure>, "#,##0.00")

This should ensure that the numbers are displayed consistently in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, and resolve the issue you're facing.
