Need to be able to clone/copy a dataset then point it to a new connection.
No we are not changing the connection type or the structures of the tables.
Hi @dzadik
Would you like to copy the dataset as a pbix or an excel, then connect to the dataset in Power BI Desktop?
You could right-click on the table and select "copy table", then paste in an excel.
Or you could publish the dataset and report to Power BI Service, then connect to the Power BI datasets in Power BI Desktop.
Why do you refer to API, do you want to realize this via API?
Best Regards
maggie
