In our organization, we have two SQL Servers—one dedicated to finance and another to production. I have queries that will be used in different reports, each drawing from one of the servers. These reports will not combine data from both servers in a single report.
Could you please advise whether it's best to use a single on-premises data gateway for both servers, or if it would be more secure to set up separate gateways to ensure proper data segregation, especially given the sensitive nature of the information?

@Pavan_123456789 You should be good to go either way as data is not stored on the gateways but rather they are simply used as a proxy for the service to access on-premises data. And, credentials are encrypted and stored in the Service, not the gateway. However, if you are super concerned, there is no reason that you couldn't have two, separate gateway clusters. However, you would then require 4 gateways for redundancy versus with just 2 gateways in the same cluster you would have redundancy, less maintenance, etc.
