Change 'Value' data field using a drop down menu

I'm currently using an area chart to display 'spending' over the course of a year.  I would also like to display 'saving' in the same chart.  My question is it possible to have a drop down menu (or maybe a workaround) to choose which field will be displayed in the chart? Thanks in advance.

It's been a long time since you asked this but just incase anyone else has the same question, you can use field parameters: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-field-parameters

Hi @rlumanlan,

We cannot dynamic choose which column to be displayed in a chart, but as a workarount, we can switch the measure displayed in a chart from a slicer.

Hear is a similar blog for your reference:

If you still have any concern, please post sample data of your tables.
