Do you know why i cant add data sources, i'm the power bi administrator, and i was the one who created the vnet data gateways.
Solved! Go to Solution.
try accesing and setting up the data sources with this link
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/gateways?newManageGatewaysUI=false
It seems to be a problem with the New GUI, so I used the old one and it worked

Hi,
I am trying to connect to gateway according to your advice.
But it doesn't work. Still the same problem with this error message:
datagateway: Received error payload from gateway service with ID 43198: Error logging on username 'xxx\jiri.xyz'.
The same login works for MS SQL studio.
Could you help me, please? I am out of ideas. Thank you!
I have the same issue as @malopez2030 . I'm admin of the vnet gateway, but it is no more appearing in dropdown when creating new data source.
Hi, @malopez2030
You can manage admins for a virtual network (VNet) data gateway like you do for standard data gateways either in the Power Platform admin center or on the Manage gateways page in Power BI.You can also create data sources and share these data sources to users like you do today for data sources created on the standard data gateway.
Please check the thread below for more details.
Create virtual network data gateways
Manage virtual network data gateways
Use virtual network data gateway and data sources in Power BI
