Hi,
I have a couple of SSAS on-premise tabular models and are currently looking to move to power bi cloud. Is it possible with the new power bi file format, is it possible to port these models by replacing the model.bim file.
Alternatively what is the recommended approach to moving these models as shared data models onto power bi.
The plan is to get fabric capacity and move our data onto fabric at some point.
Or is it just easier to create a new data model and use ALM Toolkit to copy the measures/ relationships?
Thanks

I was hoping that the new file format for power bi might have made it easier to swap in data models.
