Autorefresh failed

Hi all,

I'm a newbie here so please excuse me if this has been answered before.

In my organisation, we have rolled out dashboards that are connected to Excel files in my OneDrive.

Refreshes are scheduled at 9am daily, which means I have to switch on my laptop around that time. 

If I don't, refresh for the dashboards will fail.

I would like to ask the Community if there are any other better ways to manage this, in the event that I am on leave and hence, my laptop will be switched off during that period.

Hi @ShafiqRuslan,

In which way did you connect to data source? From this document, importing files from OneDrive, or SharePoint Online makes any change to data source to be updated in Power BI too, usually within about an hour.

If you configured data gateway in your environement, to make the scheduled refresh to work continualy, the service where installed gateway should be running all the time.

Hi,

It is connected to OneDrive. Does this mean that I do not have to schedule any refresh, as the refreshes are done automatically, regardless of whether my laptop is switched on or off at the time of refresh?
