Automatic refresh failed - need help

Hey,

 

I am trying to refresh my data source automatically, but I keep getting error messages:

 

Data source error:The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed. Timeout value: 18000 sec.
Cluster URI:WABI-WEST-EUROPE-B-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID:8c309e01-2925-4b29-b29d-4dd81eeb3a50
Request ID:7bfc4f06-ea72-4c3f-8879-026b09863448
Time:2020-07-20 08:15:16Z

 

when I try to manually refresh its works great and fast.

I have the premium capacity (A4), the PBIX file is 2.7GB.

 

please help

Hi @Doronhn ,

Based on your description and error message, your scheduled refresh is timeout.

Please note that:

Scheduled refresh for imported datasets timeout after two hours. This timeout is increased to five hours for datasets in Premium workspaces. 

 

If you encounter this limit, consider reducing the size or complexity of your dataset, or consider breaking the dataset into smaller pieces.

In addition, here is a document about how to optimize your model and premium capacity in details that you can refer.
