Auto refresh with Excel workbook on OneDrive not working

Hi there,

I've built a couple of dashboards sitting off a .csv file that sits on my OneDrive for business folder.  Using a timed python script to update the csv and the onedrive refresh I was able to build a really nice set of reports that were always up to date.

Just last week this has now stopped working.  My python scripts still update the csv file containing all the master data for the reports but the link between OneDrive and PowerBI doesn't seem to be active.  If I look in the refresh history there's not been a sucessful update since 9th May.  The autorefresh button is still set to on...

Any ideas what's the cause?

Hi @neal_d,

Have you received any refresh failed error message? Could you post the detailed error message here?

Does your dataset contain other data sources except the csv file on your OneDrive for business folder? Do you import the file on Power BI Desktop, then publish it to the Power BI service, or import directly from Power BI service?
