Auto refresh/Manual refresh

I was notified that my auto refresh had ben suspended due to inactivity, when restarted I get the following error and can't figure out what is going on.

Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. (from the email notification)

The gateway is either offline or could not be reached.

This occurs whether scheduled or manual

Comfirm that the gateway is up and connecting to Azure.
