Authentication method - oauth2 missing while trying to install any Dynamics AX app

Hi,

I am trying to install dynamics 365 Apps (For ex:Connect to Microsoft Dynamics AX Financial Performance) to my power BI account 

But after entering my environment  URL (local VHD), authentincation method "oauth2 " is missing because of which i am not able to log in using my org. account. 

Can someone help me on this?

HI @vivek2691,

Do you mean use power bi service to get data from dynamics ax on premise datasource? If this is a case, current power bi service content pack not support dynamics ax on premise.

You need use power bi desktop to get data and publish report to service.

No, not the on-premise version. I have downloaded the 18-month trial VHD and connected using Hyper-V.

HI @vivek2691,

AFAIK, Dynamics AX content pack only support online dynamic ax source.

For dynamic AX online version, you can subscription and manage in azure portal dashboard without any device.

If dynamics ax datasource request to install on device or azure vm, it means you're using a on-premise version.
