Audit logs for RLS assignment

Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve an audit history of who has been added/removed to roles in service? I have had a nose through the events in audit logs in 365 but can't see anything.

I'm having an isse where someone I *know* that was in a certin RLS group suddenly wasn't in anything today when I looked. When I ran through the report with him last week, I could see the report on his screen and he could only see what he was meant to. But now he's dropped out of that group and I've no idea why.

Any diea if this info is stored and if so, how I can get at it?

Hi. I'm sorry but you can't check RLS operations yet on the logs. You can check the available operations in the following post:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-auditing#operations-available-in-the-...

Someone with contributor, member or admin permission on the workspaces might have changed the security of the dataset or AD group (in case you are controling with groups).

I hope that helps,

Thanks for that.

Am surprised to see this isn't an option though. If there is more that one person that is maintaining security levels and there has been a potential breach, then surely this needs to be something that needs to be reported on. 😞
