Hi,
First of all I'm a begginer so I might miss something trivial :).
I'm trying to follow the App Owns Data Starter Kit Tutorial posted a month ago on the PowerBi Channel in Youtube:
App Owns Data Starter Kit - Part 1 of 6 - YouTube.
It's a great tutorial, very well detailed and explained, but somehow it's not working for me 😞
I could not create the DB using the code first approach as when I tried the Add-Migration command I got the "Build Failed" answer. So, as it's not a complex schema and I realy wanted to test it out, I created the DB by hand.
But when I tried running the solution, I got a Http Error 500.0.
Did anyone managed to recreate the solution as in the videos?
Thanks,
George

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I managed to get it working when I unzipped the archive on my local drive.
Thanks,
George
So I managed to get it working, and leaving it here for other neewbies like myself 🙂
I initially had the solution on my personal OneDrive, but when I unzipped the solution on my C drive, it worked like a charm.
Hi @GeorgeBulimar ,
Have you installed the following software?
Then you can follow this document.
After you got the "Build Failed", you can run the command "dotnet build", the output will show all errors and warnings.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
