Hi,
We encounter the following problem when analyzing a Power BI Dataset in Excel:
We want to keep the resulting Pivot Table up to date, so we enable the "Refresh Data when opening file" option. This works fine if only a single user is using the Excel file. Whenever a second user open the file, the option seems to become unchecked and the file stops updating.
We also store one users credentials in the excel file to refresh the table (so not every user who uses the file has to enter their credentials when refreshing).
Is anyone experiencing a similar behaviour? Or does anyone have a solution / workaround?
Thanks!
Hi @sgeheeb
The option in PivotTable is a little bit out of my work scope, please kindly raise it to the related forum for more reference:

Hi,
I don't really know what you mean by 'connecting to the table'. We are using the "Analyze in Excel" function in the Power BI Service, open the .odc file in excel and create the pivot table. For the connection properties, we have set "Always use connection file", "Save password" and "Refresh data when opening file" options.
