Analyze in Excel -- External Guest users of the tenant

Hi,

We have several reports and semantic models under my company tenant in powerBI service, with several Analyze in excel (one for each report).

For the moment, the client can access to the "excels" due to they have a user&pwd from our company user, but they want to have their own user in order to manage their security pwd , etc.

We have tried, adding the external user as a build (like the otthers that are running ok) but when i try to access trhought the excel with the user and pwd i received the issue that the user can't access to the semantic model.

I have checked some things in the admin portal 

but still not working.

Can someone help me on this o have an idea ?

Hi @dobregon 

There is currently a limitation where external users cannot use the analyse as Excel optional. You can only use a customer account to within your domain as you are correct. You can vote or create an idea for this here: https://ideas.powerbi.com
