Analyze/Explain increase/decrease now works in Power BI Service for Power BI datasets?

Hello,

Can someone please confirm the Analyze/Explain increase/decrease now works in Power BI Service for Power BI datasets?
This didn't work last time we checked - about a month ago (I don't think).

New functionality?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi @dancarr22 ,

Do you mean the option of View Insight for dataset? By my test, it is show normally.

What do it  show when you view insight? is there any error message?

@v-xuding-msft Sorry for not stating this more clearly.

This is when you have dates on x-axis and numerical values on y-axis.  Then, right click on value and shows how/why it changed.  this previously did not work with PBI datasets - but now it appears to work.  Just want to confirm this prior to letting users know about this functionality.

This only works in PBI service - not on Desktop.

Thanks,

Hi @dancarr22 ,

As you said, it also works in Service. Hope you enjoy the feature.
