Alerts on dashboard

An alert only sends when the data for that alert is refreshed. But, since this is direct query, If you are not refreshing the Direct Query report automatically, the only time that the data is queried is when the dashboard is opened. So, that part tracks with your comment. Therefore, I think taht if you schedule refreshes, you should be getting alerts.

The report is scheduled to refresh daily. However for a safer side, i have scheduled the page to refresh after every hour from "format report page"Hi Prabhat96,
