Using the SQL server, I created a new Power BI dataflow. Do I need to refresh the dataset every time after the dataflow is refreshed or will the dataset update automatically?

If the dataset is the downstream entities of your dataflow , when you refresh the dataflow , the dataset will also get refreshed , whether you do a full refresh or an incremental refresh . So you don't need refresh your dataset after dataflow refreshed .

Unfortunately, it isn't working. After the dataflow schedule refresh, the dataset does not update, so we need to refresh it to see the new data.
I have set up Power Automate to trigger the dataset refresh when the dataflow completes its refresh as successful.
