Adding data to Usage Metrics Data report
Hi, I want to add a table from SQL to the Usage Metrics Report ? how can i do ? I saved as the app to try to modify but cannot add data, cannot change the connection type ( Or dont know how) ...
Anonymous Can you explain me please how can i do it ? Its a power bi dataset right ?
Where should i change the connection type ? i have no options like that
Go to Model Tab, properties, advanced, Storage Mode, Direct Query.
If that doesn't work try making a calculated table. Any old table will do. Hopefully it'll give it the kick to pop up the dialog box to set up a composite model.
Be warned that such a pbix won't update in Service, microsoft made the usage metrics some special little flower that's specifically exempt from being able to be refreshed in service.
