Access Request Emails

Hello, TWO Questions.

1. I am Admin, and few other individuals are Admin as well. But we are not receiving Access requests via email. The only Roles available are Admin, Contributor, Member, and Viewer.

2. If I make a distribution group/list Admin, in theory should each of us (in this DL) receive the access request?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can add multiple users or groups to the contact for an item. Automated email messages related to the item, like access requests, are sent to the contact list.

They can be:

• A person
• A Microsoft 365 group
• An email enabled security group
• A distribution list

For example, set contact list for a report.

You can set any user or group in the contact list, but they're not automatically granted permission to the item. Use sharing or give users who need it access to the workspace through a role.
