summarized data

I have a report that summarizes data based on Year, Qurter and Month.  A have slicers for all 3 elements.  Is there a way to display the summed data to reflect the last month's figures when selecting just the Quarter slice and not the month slicer?

Hi @Rocky_Brown ,

I create a sample, please check if this is what you want:

LastMonthData filtered by Quater =
IF (
    ISFILTERED ( 'Table'[Date].[Quarter] )
        && NOT ( ISFILTERED ( 'Table'[Date].[Month] ) ),
    CALCULATE (
        SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ),
        FILTER (
            ALL ( 'Table' ),
            'Table'[Date] > EOMONTH ( MIN ( 'Table'[Date] ), -2 )
                && 'Table'[Date] <= EOMONTH ( MIN ( 'Table'[Date] ), -1 )
        )
    )
)

FILTER QUARTER.gif

In this sample, it returns blank when filtered by Date.Month. In you scenario, you can set what you want when filtered by Date.Month.

Please specify if this is for Report Server or for the Power BI Service.

Please provide sample data in usable format (not as a picture - maybe insert into a table?) and show the expected outcome.
