refreshing a PBIX file through powershell/any other method.

Hi Everyone, I wanted to ask if it is possible to refresh a PBIX file( in an automated way like power shell script or something). I have a report that uses google analytics data as source. the report needs to be placed at Power BI report server(So can't use the Google analytics content pack) which does not handle scheduled refresh for google analytics data source yet. I am also looking into ways of using google analytics data source in an excel file. Any help or insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hammadhassan,

You can upload/re-upload the PBIX from your local system to Report Server using PBIRS V2.0 REST API's or by installing the PBIRS libraries in powershell which got plenty of functionalites that you can play around with.

I've done using REST API's in my project and it is the easiest to start with.

Cheers,

Hari T
