power bi report server Excel Source

Hello,

I have power bi report server excel source..

I published my report on the server when I changed the permission it still give me error on the sorce..

the data source itself give me successful connection..

what is the problem?

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

l did a similar test when setting up RLS in powerbi and then sending it to report server gives similar same error.

You need to add this user in RLS and then go to security to assign the appropriate permissions for this user to access the report server. See below:

You need to add your name in the security section, refer to the below screenshot.

Your report has Row Level Security.

Hi,

This looks like you have Row-level security.

If you do, you will need to select users that run the report to have access to the row-level security groups you have set. eg, if everyone, it might be "domain users"
