only one user of my published report cannot open the date hierarchy completely

Hi

I am creating reports in my company and one of users has a problem when viewing the date hierarchy in the table. The hierarchy is Year > Month > Week of Year > Date

When I view the published report it is fine. Other users also can get deeper into the hierarchy. But one users cannot go lower than month. Actually when he clicks on the '+' sign beside the month, it turns into '-' but nothing appears below that!

Many thanks in advance!

Jalal

Hi, @Jalalmn

I guess you can do this by deleting that visual and then recreating it. Finally, re-upload it to Power BI report server to resolve the issue.

I can't open the reports please figure out this and solve this problem

I've just updated my organisation's report server to jan 2025 and upon doing so users reproted the inability to edit reports, schedules and view datasources where they could before. I resolved this issue by adding an AD group they are all a part of to the "Site Settings" as a "Standard User". Something we didnt have in place before but seems to be required for this build.

Usually their roles allow them to do all of this without the need for this "Standard User" group being in place on the front end of the RS.

A workaround at the least as i can't find anything in the released documentation that anything was changed with this functionality.

Check User Permissions: Ensure that the user has the necessary permissions to view the full hierarchy. Sometimes, restricted permissions can limit access to certain data levels.

Browser Cache: Ask the user to clear their browser cache and cookies. Sometimes, cached data can cause display issues.

Browser Compatibility: Ensure the user is using a compatible browser. Some features might not work correctly on older or unsupported browsers.

Data Refresh: Have the user refresh the report. Sometimes, a simple refresh can resolve display issues.

Hierarchy Settings: Verify that the hierarchy settings are correctly configured for all users. Sometimes, settings might be user-specific.

Update Power BI: Ensure that both you and the user are using the latest version of Power BI. Updates often fix bugs and improve functionality.

Recreate the Hierarchy: If the issue persists, try recreating the date hierarchy in the report. This can sometimes resolve underlying issues
