I would like to confirm whether incremental refresh functionality is supported in Power BI Report Server, similar to what is available in Power BI Service. If it is not natively supported, are there any recommended alternatives or configurations to achieve an equivalent solution within Power BI Report Server?
I appreciate any guidance regarding limitations, configurations, or suggested strategies for this scenario.
Thanks for tharunkumarRTK's concern about this issue.
Hi, @AnalistaLH
As stated by tharunkumarRTK , Power BI Report Server does not support the incremental refresh feature like Power BI Service.

This can be done by using SSAS as the data source, which supports incremental refresh. This requires setting up partitions in SSAS and configuring Power BI reports to use those partitions.

If your data source supports it, you can use DirectQuery mode to ensure that the report always reflects the latest data without having to completely refresh it.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

I dont think Report server supports incremental refresh, one alternative is to build the tabular model in the SSAS and build your tables and partitions in it. Then you can use it as datasource in your report.
