data source subscription

Hi All,

I am trying to create a subscription for a data source in Power BI Report Server, but it looks disabled. Can someone please help me understand what might be the cause and how can I fix it?

You can't create subscriptions to data sources, you can create them for paginated reports. Otherwise,  you might be referring to scheduled refresh for PowerBI reports or cache refreshsed for data sets. Those will require catalog and system permissions for the user.

Thanks Jon, then may I know why there is a subscription option at all? Any idea?
