chart

Hi, I have a transaction type (sell or buy) and I've incorporated it into info bubbles to mark it on the curve. However, I'm having trouble determining whether it signifies a signal to sell or buy. I need guidance on how to create this triangle to discern the type.

Hi @rania0808 ,

Firstly , you can choose the Line chart:

  • In your Power BI report, click on the chart to activate it.
  • Navigate to the Format pane by selecting the paintbrush icon.
  • Expand the Markers section.
  • Here, you can choose Shape, and then select the triangle shape for your markers.

Thanks for your response @Anonymous ! I actually implemented the triangle markers before. However, I'm still facing difficulty in distinguishing between buy and sell signals even with this setup. Do you have any other recommendations to address this issue?

Hi @rania0808 ,

You can use tooltips to display buy and sell signals.

Measure = IF('table'[sell] = "▲","buy","sell")

Then put it into tooltips
