Anyone has an idea/feeling if the RLS feature just released will work with custom authentication? I'm not a pro in either RLS or custom authentication!

When running on custom auth, Username() and Userprincipalname() will both return the username of the identity that was provided by the custom authentication extension.
Yes RLS with Custom Auth works and is supported. 😉
Great to know thanks! What function would you use to figure out who is looking at the report in a custom authentication scenario then? I am aware of the USERNAME() DAX function but thought that only works for AD credentials isn't it?
