Unable to change DataSource of a .pbix file once uploaded to Power BI Service Web.

Hey Guys,

Please see the screen shot. Here I am not able to change DataSource. Neither Type nor Connection String. I am uploading .pbix file to my Power BI Report Service. Can you shed some light on this how to achieve it?

Hi @sameers,

Yes. It is not supported to change the data soruce type or connection string of a .pbix file fetching data from SQL Server on web portal.

Hi Yuliana,

I have another question. May be you can tell me to post it on other relevant place.

I am looking to impltment SAML 2.0 based authentication  in SSRS 2016. I am googling on it from last 2 weeks but not getting any concrete information. Either the information is imcomplete, theoretical, obsolete or not working. Moreover there are only couple of blogs while wrote about it which itself are not complete too.

Can you help me out on this?
