UNICHAR function on Report Server

Hi there

I am using PowerBI June 2017 designer for On-Prem powerbi. I notice that UNICHAR function doesnt exist in this version. Can you advice if I have done something wrong or this is the limitation?

Based on my test in Power BI report server August version, the UNICHAR function works well.

You can update the Power BI report server to August Preview version follow this article.

Hmm, not entirely sure when that function was introduced but sounds like a limitation. Maybe try the August version.

Correct, but you should still be able to test out the August RS Desktop version to see if it is in there. And I think it is pretty easy upgrade from June to August Power BI RS.
