I am very new to PowerBI, and couldn't find the answer I was looking for in other forum posts, so I am hoping someone can help me!
I have created a report based on a simple Excel table. I am trying to figure out how "refresh data" works because it doesn't seem to be updating my data. I made an adjustment on my Excel document, saved it to my desktop (where I originally used "get data" to find it)... When I go in to PowerBI desktop and click refresh, the changes are made. I have since published the report and shared it with someone else; when I go in to the report I published, nothing changes. I'm not sure if this is because I am using the desktop version and then the web version?
Help please. 😞
