Shared PBIX Data Source
Hi All,
Am I able to publish a blank pbix with no visuals and just several queries with many other PBIX reports utilising this as a data source?
This would save SQL Server resources as the data set (blank pbix) would just need to be refreshed once rather than the queries refreshed for each report.

Jarrod Correct. You can use Live mode connection to that dataset or DirectQuery for Power BI and Analysis Services. That is actually a recommended approach for enterprise BI scenarios and is covered in depth in Mastering Power BI 2nd Edition.
