Jarrod Sorry, missed that this was in the Report Server forum. No, one of the many limitations of Report Server.
Jarrod Correct. You can use Live mode connection to that dataset or DirectQuery for Power BI and Analysis Services. That is actually a recommended approach for enterprise BI scenarios and is covered in depth in Mastering Power BI 2nd Edition.
