Scheduled refresh - not refreshing front end

Hi,

Running PowerBI Report Server on premises.

Ver 1.6.7 Jan 2020.

Use Power BI Desktop Optimized to create files.

Set to Import mode.

Reports work fine.

The manual refresh works perfectly.

Able to create a schedule. (Scheduled refresh)

Job in sql agent runs perfectly.

On report site, the schedule runs and the Last run date is according to the schedule.

Status = "Completed Data Refresh"

However,

When viewing the report (without refreshing the page, nor clicking Refresh button), the data does not refresh.

I'm using date and time data to confirm.

I am expecting the visuals to update on their own.

PERHAPS my expectation is the issue.

When I click refresh, I can see it's using the refreshed model/data, but the issue is that I had to click refresh.

Is this expected behavior, or is there something wrong?

I have played around with:

- ModelCleanupCycleMinutes

- ModelExpirationMinutes

- ScheduleRefreshTimeoutMinutes

Regards
