Hi All,
Hope you are doing good.
I am working on a project where I need to create PowerBI reports and deploy them on Power BI report Server.
The main aim here is to have the data source on-premises.
My organization has SQL Server Enterprise Edition with Software Assurance.
What I really need to do here is when the PowerBI reports are uploaded on PowerBI report server:
I want to copy the report URL, and embed it into my application suffixing "?rs:Embed=true" after the URL.
Can this be done?
Also, the users who access the application won't have any powerBI licence.
Is there a need to purchase any licence if they view powerBi reports embedded in my application?
If Yes, what are the pricing details?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Yes, it is the way to embed an on-premises published Power BI Report. Use the rs:Embed parameter.
Regarding licensing. The consumers don't need any Power BI PRO license. Just people who publish to the server requires PRO license.
Regards,
Víctor M
