Report Server Embedded

I work for an organisation where the data that we want to display on PowerBI is very sensitive.

Power BI Report Server solves this as it keeps the data on-premise but we would also like to embed the report with the same functionality as PowerBI Embedded. Does anyone know if this is possible / if it's on a roadmap?

For example, we would like to build functionality off the data click event that is supplied in Power BI Embedded so that an app wrapping the report can use this trigger.

No, this is not possible. Power BI Report Server only really supports embedding using an iframe and it does not have interfaces for passing click events.
