Hello,
I am currently facing some issues with my PowerBI Report Server in the sense that it seems to lose conection with the Report Server Instance. I suspect this has something to with a patch instaliation that needs a server restart.
I am not the only person that has acces to this server, so I would like to know if there is a way to get a patch/update history for the Power Bi Report Server.
For those that want the bigger picture the problem is as follows:
a) The https GET to the main page returns 503
b) Data Base Server is up and running (SQL Server 2012 Enterprise)
c) Front end server is up and running(WIN Server 2012 R2 Standard)
d) When opening the "Report Server Configuration Manager" the "The Report Server Configuration Connection" form freezes, promting onle the Server Name and not beeing able to diplay the Report Server instance.
After a server restart it runs like a charm.
I would however like to know what can cause this "freez".
SCOM alerts promted a "Pending System reboot". Again this might not be related but I am getting desperate here.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
