PowerBI Report Server creates minidumps (SQLDmprxxxx.mdmp files)

Dear all,

 

I have problem with PowerBI Report Server (PBIRS). After updating on version 1.8.7485.35104 (May 2020) PBIRS has started creating mdmp files (see log entry below). At the same time, there is a large increase in reserved memory for reporting and analysis services.

Either the database '' does not exist, or you do not have permissions to access it.], ErrorSource=User, ErrorSourceOrigin=MsolapWrapper, OnPremErrorCode=, InnerErrorDetails=[Type=MsolapWrapper.MsolapWrapperException, Message=Could not initialize connection];stackTrace:   at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataExtension.Msolap.Connection.OpenImpl()

 It does not matter the report or the user who accesses the report. The error occurs several times a day. Other times, the reports can be opened without any problems. This error did not occur before the update.

I have same issue since May-2020 version. Really annoying.

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
