Power BI Report Server connection to Google Analytics

Hi, I am using the May 2023 version of Power BI RS and had been connecting to the Google Analytics using Universal Analytics Property. UA is now migrated to GA4 and I dont see an option in my version of Power BI RS to connect to GA4. Do you know if the September 2023 version of Power BI RS can connect to GA4?

Hi @PriyankaThomas As other comment mentioned, you could connect to GA UA data using the 1.0 connector. On the other hand, for GA4 you have the 2.0 connector which is still in beta and has still some issues with data sometimes as far as I know. As a workaround, for GA4 data, whenever you need it, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party tool. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA4 connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your GA4 account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your GA4 fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

To connect to Google Analytics data through the legacy "Universal Analytics" API, select Implementation 1.0. To connect to Google Analytics data through the new Google Analytics Data API with support for Google Analytics 4, select Implementation 2.0 (Beta).
