Power BI Report Server and SSAS Connection- Login Failed error

My SSAS is on remote server different domain.
I have used runas net only command to connect to SSAS from my Power BI desktop and developed the report.
I have published the report to Power BI report server. In web Portal under 'manage-> datasources' I have used 'Using Following credentials' option and edited the credentials. Despite providing the right credentials it throws the below error
'Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct.'
