Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.
Please try below things to fix the issue.
1. A 401 error occurs if the browser doesn’t pass Windows credentials or the SPN for the Report Server service account is not configured correctly or Delegation is not enabled, if you are accessing remote data sources.
2. Due to Incorrect or Missing Service Account SPNs. The report server runs under a domain account, Kerberos authentication is expected. If SPNs are missing or duplicated, authentication falls back to NTLM, which can fail and cause 401 errors.
3. Check Browser Configuration. Browser may block automatic Windows login unless configured.
4. Due to Mixed HTTPS/HTTP or incorrect URL access. If PBIRS is configured with HTTPS but if you accesses via HTTP, auth can fail.
