Power BI Desktop figures not equal in published in Workspace

I am working on a visual in Power BI desktop (value 3 with 1.41M). However, when I published it in the workspace (no saved bookmarks and no applied filters), the figures are different (value 3 with 1.37M). Values are normalization saved in Sharepoint while the count came from a direct query table from Snowflake. Any idea what happened here?  Also when I tried import connection, the table looks the same between desktop and service.Figures in DesktopFigures in DesktopFigures in ServiceFigures in Service

hello ReidiLexi,

I faced exactly the same issue once and the problem came from an "if" formula. replacing it with a "switch" formula solved it.

hopefuly it will help

Hi @ReidiLexi ,

Given that the import connection shows the same table between desktop and service, it suggests that the source data is consistent. However, the issue might lie in how the data is processed or displayed in the service.

You can try this to examin issue:

  1. Data Refresh: Ensure that the data in Power BI Service is refreshed. Sometimes, the data in the service might not be up-to-date compared to your desktop version.

  2. Data Source Permissions: Check if there are any differences in permissions or access levels between the desktop and service environments. This can sometimes cause discrepancies in the data retrieved.

Best Regards,

Xianda Tang
