Power BI Alerts Configuration

Dear all, How are you?
I am approaching you because of some doubts I have about the generation of Power BI alerts, as a context I have a Pro license and according to the documentation I can create alerts on my visualisations.
But every time I want to create an alert, my workspace activates Data Activator, which tells me that I must obtain a Microsoft Fabric license.

My question is, there is no longer an alert option for Pro licenses, as I have read the documentation on generating alerts and nowhere does it indicate the need for Data Activator and Microsoft Fabric.

I leave here the documentation to which I refer, please if there is documentation that I have not found or information necessary to make a decision I remain attentive.

https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/power-bi/create-reports/service-set-data-alerts

https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/power-bi/consumer/end-user-alerts

https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/power-bi/consumer/business-user-set-alerts

https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/fabric/data-activator/data-activator-get-data-real-time-dashboard

PS: I have tried with all types of models, imports or Direct Query, connecting to another semantic model and in all of them it sends me to Microsoft Fabric's Data Activator.

Hi, @Ivancito112

If you set up alerts directly in the report, you do need to use Fabric free trial or you can choose a workspace with Premium capacity:

The corresponding words in the official documentation are:

You have a Pro license, and you can pin your visuals into a dashboard:

What is actually called in the report is the Data Activator, which is a component of Fabric, and if you need to use it, you naturally need a Fabric license.

In addition, I can provide you with another way to set up an alert:

With Power Automate:

Integrate Power BI data alerts with Power Automate - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
