On premise report server shows different data than what is shown in the desktop client

When I upload a pbix file to our on premise report server and open it, it has different data than what is shown in the desktop client.

The same thing happens when I am on the report server and click 'Edit in Power BI Desktop' (i.e. the data is different on the report server vs the desktop client). I tried a scheduled refresh and it completed successfully but still had the data difference.

Thanks for your assistance!

What version of report server are you using? If it's the recent May 2020 release (version 15.0.1103.227) there is a bug with uploading pbix reports in the initial release. Microsoft is working on a fix for this at the moment.

Desktop client and report server are both Sept 2019
